If you imagine a bow hunter you mostly see him wearing back quiver in your mind. The representations in most films also show the classical back quiver over and over again. Likewise I personally have preferred the quiver on my back for many years. Admittedly, it is a matter of practice until you get along with the back quiver and do not empty your quiver on the floor every time you bend down. With some practice it will also be possible to unerringly put the arrow back into the quiver. But with any other quiver you will not be able to reach this harmony of motion when quickly and fluently pulling an arrow out of a back quiver. |
