By using an universal shafter (compression programme) the shaft is compressed (pressed down) to an exactly defined length to an exactly defined diameter. The Bearpoint heads and the wooden shaft worked by the universal shafter are now 100% compatible. Now the outer diameter from the shaft to the head of the arrow is almost identical. The head is no longer bulky and is firmly fixed on the shaft. As a result there are several clear advantages compared to other conventional products.
